Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC

This fabulous Superiore red wine, is almost a hybrid of a Valpolicella Ripasso, due to it’s partially dried grapes in the production process and it’s higher alcohol content. It has a deep red colour with hints of violet, with a an elegant bouquet, spicy, floral notes, fruity (cherry, strawberry), black pepper, tobacco. This Valpolicella Superiore is dry, full, savoury and pleasantly tannic flavour, with an elegant, lingering aftertaste of plum preserve and toasted almonds.
A highly versatile red wine, ideal paired with traditional dishes like risotto, roasted red meats, and game.
