Lago a Lago Rosso Veronese – Special Charity release Red wine
£21.00 incl VAT
This fine Red wine undergoes aging in oak barrels for 36 months, followed by 12 months in the bottle. A delightful and full bodied wine with a wealth of fragrance and an unmistakable intense and dry flavour, garnet-red colour and strong bouquet. The perfect partner to roast meats and strong cheeses, or to be enjoyed on it’s own as a meditative wine.
This fine wine is essentially an Amarone from Valpolicella, but is produced specially for the charity ‘The Lake to Challenge’, in memory of a dear friend Simon Teddy Taylor. All the profit is donated to The British Heart Foundation and Springhill Hospice in Rochdale.
Service: Decant for at least one hour and serve at a temperature of 18°.
