*Decanter World Wine Awards 2021 Silver Medal Winner* This is a very prestigious wine and it is produced selecting the best grapes inside the vineyard and then they are dried (appassimento) for 4 – 5 months, then they are crushed and fermented for about a month. It is then left in the oak barriques for about 5 years in order to guarantee the typical ageing of Amarone. This Amarone is a strong, full bodied wine with aromas of cherries and liquorice.
Decanter Award: “Maraschino cherries, vanilla and cinnamon with roses and blonde tobacco aromas. Bountiful ripe fruit on the palate with rich tannins.”
It is very good with game, roasted meat and old or spicy cheese.
