In 1980 the historic farmhouse in the heart of Lugano was purchased by the Lavelli family together with seven hectares of vineyards, continuing a centuries-old tradition of winemaking.
Pilandro wines are deeply rooted in their territory, deriving their fresh taste and flavours from the land. To maintain this essential connection, grapes are treated with the utmost respect and processed in an oxygen-free environment. Controlled-temperature fermentation brings out the intense characteristics and well-defined aromas of each wine.
